Deck Scuttles and Manholes
We can supply round and oval scuttles to meet most shipboard requirements.
- For installation raised above the deck, or with smooth top for installation flush with the deck.
- Quick acting wheel or lever activated from below and flush stud activated from above.
- General access scuttles can be secured with individual dogs or drop bolts.
- All scuttle covers can be hinged with or without spring balance.
- Escape scuttles can be set up to be operable from below only.
Manholes and Inspection Covers can be supplied in both stock and custom sizes.
- Oval stock sizes: 15" x 23"; 18" x 24"
- Round stock sizes: 18", 20", 22", 24", 26"
- Custom sizes available on special request.
- All sizes can be supplied in the following configurations:
- Boiled plate design with bolts protruding above covers.
- Raised Bolted Plate design.
- Flush with totally smooth cover, for mounting flush with the deck.
